FRWA EVENTS

Annual Conference

The FRWA Annual Conference is an annual event held by the Florida Rural Water Association.  The event offers something for everyone. Besides giving you a great networking opportunity to catch up with old friends, the Conference offers over fifty different topics to choose from so you can be sure to find something that interests you. You can find the latest innovations in the industry as you stroll through the sold out exhibit hall. We plan the event so that you can bring your family with you for a last minute summer vacation before school starts. For the latest information on the Conference, click here.

Focus on Change

Focus on Change is one of our most popular training opportunities. Classes are held at six different locations with over 1,500 attendees each year. For over 30 years, FRWA has partnered with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to design this training to keep utility personnel updated on regulatory information. Department leaders from DEP Water, Wastewater, Operator Certification Sections, and local districts give presentations on their area of expertise.  Click here for more information.

Florida/Alabama Joint Conference

The Florida/Alabama Joint Conference is a joint conference that partners the Asssociations to offer attendees from Alabama and those in the Panhandle additional training opportunities. At the Conference you will be able to network with your peers while enjoying the latest in training topics and earning 1.0 CEUs. Our exhibit hall offers attendees a chance to see the latest technology that the industry has to offer. At the end of the day, you can relax with your friends and enjoy the Annual Seafood Boil.  For more information on this year's event, click here.

Florida Forests and Water Forum

The Florida Forests and Water Forum brings together partners from across the state to discuss the connection between healthy, managed forests and clean, reliable drinking water. You can join forest landowners, utilities, conservation groups, state agencies, and others as they plan for a safe, secure future for all Floridians. At the forum you will learn about some of the history of the forest, its purpose, and some of the ongoing projects taking place on site. Topics will include forest genetics, prescribed fire regimes, forest carbon and water dynamics, forest hydrology, forest products, and more. For information on this year's Forum, click here.
